Natural gas can be stored underground in depleted natural gas or oil fields, aquifers, or salt caverns. Natural gas can also be liquefied for storage in tanks for an indefinite period of time to meet load variations. Gas is stored during periods of low demand and withdrawn from storage during periods of peak demand.
Our Group supplies casing, tubing, valves, and fittings for underground natural gas storage and liquefied natural gas storage tanks, as well as for the compression unit at the surface.
