HR Manager

We as Maverick Valves are searching for an HR manager to join our team.
Our headquarters is based and located in Tilburg the Netherlands and is a fast-track and special Valve Manufacturer specializing in quick delivery time and tough specifications. For our team both in the Netherlands and Italy, we are looking for an HR manager to support and become our colleague.

The job
This is a dynamic and independent role, where you will be responsible for drafting employment contracts and contract extensions for both the Netherlands and Italy. You will also handle the entire HR administration, including processing personnel changes and maintaining employee records in both hardcopy and digital formats. On a monthly basis, you will transfer the necessary information to our external payroll administrator. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing employee absences and acting as a case manager for long-term sick leave. You will also organize recruitment and selection procedures, conducting initial candidate screenings for department managers. As an HR manager, you will be the point of contact for employees and conduct HR-related conversations, either one-on-one or in support of department managers. You will also serve as an advisor to managers on personnel and labor law matters.

What are we looking for?
You do possess the following qualities:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably within a technical and international environment.
• Knowledge of Dutch labor law and experience with various HR processes.
• Experience in recruitment and selection is a plus.
• Strong resilience, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
• Service-oriented and goal-driven, comfortable working in a confidential role, and able to maintain perspective.
